A number of the events My New Favourite has hosted have been in pubs - and therefore restricted to guests 18yrs or over.

It's nice that this Saturday some of our younger generation will be able to join us for Rhys Darby's R14 show.

We're looking at creating some events next year that those even younger can come along to. And perhaps we'll do something in Franklin exclusively for U18s. We could have gathered a big crowd of U18s if Tiki Taane, for instance, had been able to squeeze another Franklin performance into his busy schedule in July.

So keep an eye on things if you're not yet 18.
